Scottish Fencing will be running the Scottish Open on the weekend of 24th/25th January 2015

(Note this has recently changed from 3rd/4th January.)

Veteran Fencers (ie those over 40) have their own Commonwealth Fencing Championship event.

The 2014 event will be held in Largs, Scotland, starting Sunday, 16 Nov 2014 and running through to Wednesday, 19 Nov 2014. 

Wallace Fencing Academy will be holding the M8 Open 2014 on the weekend of 15th/16th November.

Edinburgh Fencing Club have announced the date of the next Edinburgh Open tournament: 14/15 March 2015.

Epee and Sabre events will take place on Saturday 14 March, Foil events on Sunday 15 March. We have not been given the competition venue yet but on past form it's likely to be in Edinburgh.

This year's Highland Open will be held in Elgin over the weekend of 25th/26th October.  Leon-Paul Shop and Armoury services will be available on both days

The Cumberland Open a quick trip across the border and the natives are usually friendly.  It is organised and run by Herdwick Fencing Club

This year's competition will held on the weekend of 7th/8th June 2014 at Austin Friars St Monica's School in Carlisle (CA3 9PB).

A 6 weapon competition which is still quite new and entry numbers can be quite low, but there is usually large percentage of Scottish visitors.

Note that the date of this competition was originally going to be weekend of 31st May/1st June.

Venue: St Thomas of Aquin's High School, 2-20 Chalmers Street, Edinburgh EH3 9ES

This year's Doric Open will be held on the weekend of 28/29 June at the Beach Leisure Centre in Aberdeen.

This is the usually the last competition of the season before the Summer.  Always a good fun competition and it is near the beach.
