Beginners Night - 4th Oct

Give us a couple of hours of your time and we will teach you how to fence. Bring a friend - it's better to learn together. There is no charge for this course. The class will run from 7 to 9 pm on Thursday 4th October.

All specialist equipment will be supplied by the club - this will be worn over your own clothes. Wear clothes you will be comfortable working out in - but no shorts due to safety concerns. You need to bring some indoor sports shoes with non-marking soles. The building has changing rooms and showers available.

New coach

We are delighted to welcome Calum de Sainte Croix as the new head coach of GWEFC - he is the son of Graeme (aka Dusty) who was our founding coach (some years ago).

Calum brings a wealth of coaching and competitive fencing experience - also, refereeing, armoury, competition organisation, film extra-ing.
