2008 48er Competition

GWEFC Foil 48er - May 4, 2008

This year's 48er competition will be held on Sunday May 4th. While we appreciate this might confuse some fencers - fencing foil on a Sunday - it appears to becoming the norm in Open competitions.

Anyway, the 48er will be the usual format, lots of rounds of pooles with your collective ranking being used to place you in the next round. By the end of the day you should be in a poole of fencers with the same standard of fencing as yourself.

Lots of medals and other prizes will be awarded. An entry form can be found here - or fill one in at the Club.

You need to be a member of Scottish Fencing (or equivalent) and the usual full fencing gear will need to be warn - the Club have some spare breeches.
