The Scottish Intermediates is a new competition designed with the relatively new fencer in mind.

It is open to all fencers , over 13, who have yet to achieve a medal in a Domestic Open event. Fencers who have been placed in the last 4 of a Men's Epee or Foil event or the final of a Men's Sabre or any Ladies event are not eligible to fence. In this way we hope to encourage more fencers to start competing.

There are medals for the top 4 in each event and the winners will be given a free Celtic Passport entry to the following season’s domestic opens.
